Aspartame it is.

Dangerous my ass.

Yeah, I'm switching to diet soda. This may shock and frighten many of you, but it's for my health. I wanna drop some pounds this summer, and I doubt I'll accomplish that by sucking down copious amounts of high-fructose corn syrup on a daily basis. 4 cans of dew (my daily average of my poison of choice) will give me 660 calories and 186 grams of sugar.

186 grams of sugar is about the same as 40 teaspoons. That's almost an entire cup of sugar. I think we've found my problem.

Diet dew could be my salvation. Not only is it devoid of calories and sugars (and consequentially carbs, you Atkins junkies) but it's got some extras. It uses a different preservative that contains potassium, so I actaully get some of that into my diet. There's half the sodium (not like i care about sodium, but there's half, damnit) and still all of the glorious caffiene I've come to know and love.

It's pretty much watered down, carbonated and flavored orange juice. Let's all raise a glass to diet dew!
